Earlier this month, Jason Besse, CFA, Lafayette RE LLC‘s Head of Build For Rent, attended the Information Management Network (IMN)’s ESG & Decarbonizing Real Estate Forum in Nashville, an event that brings together key ESG stakeholders within Real Estate.

Jason shared his views on the importance of having a win-win approach and realizing that incorporating sustainable and energy-efficient elements into our building standards and property management processes helps not only deliver on our commitment to being environmentally conscious but also ultimately saves costs to both tenants and landlords through more efficient consumption and maintenance.

As we take on a more hands-on and vertically integrated approach to building and developing our BFR communities at Lafayette, we are excited to continue assessing the best ways to build sustainably and efficiently, without being cost prohibitive to our tenants.
