Lafayette COO and VP of Acquisitions & Originations speak at 9th Annual Information Management Network (IMN)’s Build-to-Rent, Land & Homebuilding (West) Forum on September 12 – 13th in Las Vegas, NV

Las Vegas – September 12th, 2022

Lafayette RE LLC participated in the 9th Annual Information Management Network (IMN)‘s Build-to-Rent, Land & Homebuilding (West) Forum on September 12 – 13th in Las Vegas, NV.

The Information Management Network (IMN)‘s Build-to-Rent, Land & Homebuilding (West) Forum is the only forum dedicated to an in-depth examination of the private capital available for land owners and home builders.

Christopher Mataja, our Chief Operating Officer, and Liya Mo, our VP of Acquisitions & Originations, explained that in spite of the current volatility in capital markets and widening bid-ask spreads in the private market, deals are still getting done. The cumulative housing shortage, solid rental performance, and declining homeownership affordability are powerful long-term drivers for the SFR asset class.

Lafayette remains a very active yet disciplined investor in this market and sees the next few months as an opportunity to grow its portfolio while being selective on locations.
